why you’ll love Generation Church {GC}...

Passion, authenticity, originality, real friendships, the presence of God...these are all reasons why hundreds (and soon to be thousands) of young people love GC! Every week, in GC, we worship, we sing, we dance, we respond to God, we laugh, we cry, we get new vision and we are inspired to change the world! And all that happens in just under 2 hours of the most exciting youth service in San Diego.

Once you come to GC you’ll find, like everyone else, you want more. That’s why we have campus clubs, connect groups and GC Classes. Each one of these ministries helps to build the whole (as in the whole church and kingdom of God).

what’s a campus club and is there one on my campus?

All good questions. A campus club is a Generation Church/ Generation Forward “connect group” that meets on your campus. Generation Forward is the outreach ministry of GC. It exists to bring those who are outside of the church, into the church. So, for GC, that means we have clubs that meet weekly on various middle school, high school and university campuses across the county. Visit the Generation Forward section of the website for up-to-date details as to where and when the clubs meet.

I love GC, how can I be a part of a connect group?

I love GC too! And I am so glad you asked. Let me ask you some questions: 1) how old are you? 2) where do you live? 3) are you interested in making disciples of all the nations (in particular your friends)? If you answered yes to all those questions, you didn’t read them! But if you can answer all of those questions you need to go to the connect group section of this site and find a connect group that fits you!

I need more sound doctrine, where and when are GC Classes?

That’s what THEY said! Okay, okay so you want to have a hunger and thirst for the Word of God? Great! So do we, every Sunday we have GC Classes, taught by passionate, yet friendly students of the Word. We talk about relationships, faith, the Trinity, man’s four-fold purpose, how to witness effectively among other things. You still don’t know when the classes are? Fear not they are all on Sundays at:

     GC JV (grades 7-8) - Dismissed after worship at the 9 am service, in room 104.
     GC Varsity (grades 9-12) - Dismissed after worship at the 9 am service, in the bookstore/ cafe.
     GC U (university aged) - Dismissed after worship at the 9 am service, in the conference room.
